green roof in Georgetown

Walking across the Key Bridge from Rosslyn to Georgetown, if you look over the Whitehurst Freeway you'll see a green roof. With it's flowers blooming, it can have some yellow or pink on it, too. The building reportedly spends $3,000 to $4,000 a month to water its roof. That's too expensive for most building owners, including the Westmoreland Condos. I hope somebody figures out how to make green roofs cheaply.

We have green roof system that requires only 1" of rainfall per month. Please visit plantedroof.com for an overview of Live roof, the only invisible modular installed fully vegetated instant green roof system on the market. We install Nation wide.
