Long after roads have been cleared, piles of snow remain on major bicycle arteries. WashCycle, among others, is helping to mobilize concerned residents. Bike Arlington has secured a plow and is putting it to work.
Going forward, bicycles should be taken seriously in all transportation planning, including snow removal.
