pilot advisory for Rosslyn

Pilots of all commercial flights leaving Reagan National Airport and heading north or north-west are advised to avoid passing over Rosslyn in order to lessen risks of collision with cranes and other high-flying birds.  Flights departing on runway 15/33 should bank right and proceed along the river corridor.  Flights departing on runway 1/19 should also proceed along the river corridor.  The alternate flightplan is to u-turn left, head south past Alexandria, and then bank right to proceed west.

If control questions these headings, notify that you are following recommended flightplan 1-Orange-Sammy-Tommy.

I am certainly glad that the Ode Street Tribune published that information for pilots. Many pilots live in Rosslyn and we view the Ode Street Tribune as a more reliable source that some of the other source of information that we have

All pilots, irrespective of where they live, can benefit from reading the Ode Street Tribune. The Ode Street Tribune has reached over 60,000 members of the trucking community. We hope to have similar influence with pilots.

Please explain how you know that the Ode street Tribune has reached "60,000 members of the trucking community". That would seem to be a bit a puffing.
