all children are winners in Rosslyn

This past Saturday, Rosslyn's magnificent new children's playground in Ft. Myer Heights Park was formally opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and local dignitaries.  The Radnor/Ft. Myer Heights neighbor is home to about 700 school-aged children.  On a nice Saturday afternoon a significant share of them are now playing in the new children's playground.

According to a report from Andrea L.S., "an independent journalist specializing in children's activities in Radnor/Ft. Myer Heights," all children who participated in the scavenger hunt at the opening ceremony finished as winners.  Prizes for winner's included Arlington County pencils (great for young journalists!) and water bottles (great for young bicyclists!).   There's no more important lesson for children than that being in Rosslyn makes you a winner.
