In response to reports that Rosslyn residents were having difficulty locating the new cafe aficionado, the Tribune dispatched its crack investigative journalist. Cafe aficionado has been located at 1919 N. Lynn St. It's on the ground floor of that large, new tower just before Gateway Park. Cafe aficionado is thus right on the route for a walk about Rosslyn's beautiful and scenic Roosevelt Island.
Cafe aficionado offers a wide range of organic coffee drinks. It also offers sandwiches and deserts. Among the more exotic offerings are Eritrean tea, fruit granita, and leige waffles. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm, and Saturday, 8am to 3pm. Cafe aficionado would be an excellent stop for a Saturday morning stroll about Rosslyn.
