The Arlington Artists Alliance’s “Artful Weekend” takes place December 5-7 at the historic Hendry House in the beautiful Fort C. F. Smith park in Arlington. The opening reception is December 5, 6-8 pm. The show and sale continues December 6, 10am - 5pm, and December 7, 12 noon - 4pm. The show and sale will feature thirty-nine 2- and 3-d artists working in oil, pastel, water media, collage, ceramics, wood, and glass with work priced for every budget and suitable as gifts or for home and business. I've gone to this show in previous years and enjoyed the wide array of artwork.
The Artful Weekend includes a free performance by the Stardust Dance Band on December 7, 1 - 3pm.
