powerline construction crosses Virginia-Rosslyn-Washington Expressway

Construction of the new power line for the new Radnor Heights power substation has created some minor obstacles for a crossover on the Virginia-Rosslyn-Washington Expressway.  Expressway users are able to navigate the obstacles without any delay.  Extending the line along Rt. 110 will create additional construction activity along the Expressway.  Extra caution in the area is warranted, particularly making the turn at the bottom of the hill.

The construction has created an impressive steel snake up Marshall Dr.  The Ode Street Tribune recommends walking to see this construction early in the morning to get the most pleasing reflections of sun.
