don't miss Dosik's Cosplay and Dom Flemons at Rosslyn's Artisphere

You can see some great photographs of fans doing cosplay on Artisphere's video screens, but only through this Sunday, March 1. Cosplay involves dressing up as fictional characters that you love. Keep in mind, however, that real-world laws still apply.  Mike Dosik, a Rosslyn-area native, took these photographs through three years' attendance at fan conventions and fairs.

For an excellent Saturday double header, check out Dosik's cosplay photos and then attend the 8pm performance of Dom Flemons:
A multi-instrumentalist, Flemons plays his trademark banjo, guitar, harmonica, fife, bones, drums and quills in addition to singing. His work with the Carolina Chocolate Drops earned the group a Grammy Award for its 2011 album Genuine Negro Jig.
Tickets for Dom Flemons show are $18. Order yours in advance before the show sells out.
