watch for voles in Meade St. park

If you look carefully along the path through North Meade Street Park, you might catch a glimpse of small animals scurrying about.  These are no ordinary mice.  Their short, stubby tails indicate that they are voles. Voles are a highly distinguished animal known for unusual genetic diversity and rapid species evolution.  They are thus a particularly appropriate animal to be living in diverse and dynamic Rosslyn.
