Partisans stridently debate whether Rosslyn is more like Manhattan, or more like San Francisco.  While that issue is important, don't forget that Rosslyn is located nearly at the seat of the U.S. capital.  Rosslyn's premier location implies considerable national political clout.  In the above video, Kip Laramie, owner of the recently closed Santa Fe Cafe, describes how running a small business in Rosslyn led him onto the national stage for discussion of health-care policy.
