motorcyclists gather in Rosslyn

While Rosslyn has a reputation for contemporary art and fashion, you can also feel a rugged vibe in mass of motorcycles regularly seen in Rosslyn.  The roar of motorcycles nicely balances the noise of planes.  The Ode Street Tribune has high hopes that Heavy Seas Alehouse, slated to open soon in Rosslyn, will bring many motorcycles gangs to Rosslyn and alleviate some residents concerns about airplane noise.

In related news, the Radnor/Ft. Myer Heights Civic Association (RAFOM) will meet on Wednesday, December 4 at 7 PM in the Prospect House Condominium Meeting Room. The meeting will address airplane noise and will feature Russ Adams, Support Specialist, Washington District, Federal Aviation Administration; and Mike Jeck, Aero Acoustic Program Manager, Airport Noise Office, Metropolitan Washington  Airports Authority.
