SUV set up on cinder blocks and tires stolen

A GMC Yukon SUV that was parked in the parking lot at the corner of 14th St. and Nash St. was propped up on cinder blocks and its tires stolen sometime between this past Sunday evening and Monday morning.  The car is easily visible from 14'th St. halfway up the hill from the Iwo Jima Memorial.  If you saw any suspicious activity in this area, contact Arlington County Police. 

A similar tire theft occurred near the intersection of N. Wayne St. and 9'th St. (east side of Myer Henderson Hall base) in July, 2008.  Caring, alert neighbors can help protect against such thefts.  Do your part.
