Long Bridge Park, which is only about 1.2 miles southeast of downtown Rosslyn, hosted some family-friendly fun to celebrate the 4th of July. Phoenix Bikes led a family bike parade at noon, and the day also featured games, social sports, food vendors, and live music. At sundown, those not lucky enough to get a spot at Rosslyn's Iwo Jima Memorial or Rosslyn's Netherlands Carillon could view the DC fireworks right from Long Bridge Park.
