monitoring traffic congestion

A traffic monitor has been installed on the Virginia-Rosslyn-Washington multi-user expressway just before Memorial Bridge in Rosslyn.  This monitor counts pedestrian and bicyclists. A bicycle commuter with whom the Ode Street Tribune scored an exclusive interview said that he has never encounter gridlock or traffic congestion on the expressway.  Good traffic planning, and the right vehicle choice, eliminates traffic problems.
