Ft. Myer Heights Park recovering from Deep Soil Rosslyn Water Spill

Ft. Myers Heights Park, which is next to the majestic Westmoreland Terrace Condominiums in lovely Rosslyn, is slowly recovering from this past winter's tragic Deep Soil Rosslyn Water Spill.  About two weeks ago a county work crew spread hay over the damaged ground.  Some grass is now starting to poke up through the covering hay.

In the high winds yesterday, large branches from a birch sycamore tree broke off and fell into the park.  Damage to the ground appears to be minimal.
