Today is the 416-day anniversary of the heroic effort that finally plugged the Deep Soil Rosslyn Water Spill. Ft. Myer Heights Park is green and peaceful. Uninformed passers-by could not imagine the tens of thousands of gallons of water that pushed up through a broken water main and poured across the park. Readers of the Ode Street Tribune, who are knowledgeable and well-informed, can savor memories of that tragic event.
